SEREBII releases title track from upcoming album | Check out 'Dime'
On new album single/title track ‘Dime’ Serebii (aka Callum Mower) layers vocal harmonies on a sparse finger-plucked guitar for a delicate two minute track. ‘Dime’ started as a finger-plucked guitar melody in a strange tuning that led to Serebii putting the whole song together in a day. It’s a reflection on the feeling of having been cast into the world with little more than some loose change and ending up back where you started, wondering what it was all about. The typically quiet and humble artist recognised what he had captured in the song, and named it appropriately—a dime, as in a perfect ten. “I just remember being like, that’s a dime. I got my dime,” said Callum.
JENSEN MCRAE announces new album & shares new song | Take a listen to this rising star!
Folk’s modern muse Jensen McRae has revealed the release date for her highly anticipated sophomore album, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me!, set to drop on April 25 via Dead Oceans. Alongside the announcement, she’s dropped her newest single and video, ‘Praying For Your Downfall,’ a masterclass in candor that blends snark and charm as McRae reflects on letting go of the impulse for revenge against someone who broke her heart. Set against the backdrop of heartbreak, self-discovery, and the complexities of love, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me! is a bold evolution for the young artist. The eleven-track album, recorded in North Carolina with Brad Cook (Waxahatchee, Bon Iver) and featuring contributions from Nathan Stocker (Hippo Campus), Matthew McCaughan (Bon Iver), and her brother Holden McRae, is a vibrant collection of songs anchored by razor-sharp lyrics and timeless pop melodies.

The music video is directed by Cody Critcheloe (who directed Perfume Genius’ legendary ‘Queen’ video) and is a fever dream-unhinged, sexually charged, hilarious and riveting, leaving the viewer questioning what is real and what is an aberration. It features Hadreas, Harding and longtime Perfume Genius band member and co-writer Alan Wyffels.
