DARKSIDE release ‘Are You Tired? (Keep On Singing)’ | Take a listen today!
DARKSIDE have released new track ‘Are You Tired? (Keep On Singing)’, taken from their forthcoming new album Nothing, out February 28th on Matador Records. In just under seven minutes, ‘Are You Tired (Keep On Singing)’ spans almost as many decades. The wind whispers, Harrington’s guitar scythes minimally over Jaar’s falsetto, now slathered in echo and reverb. Then a middle suite sounds almost like a funkier Byrds circa Sweetheart of the Rodeo. It’s followed by a gentle breakdown where agile guitars crack through an ominous Druidic fog. Theoretically, none of this should make sense, but it’s somehow seamless.
SLEEP THEORY announce debut album | Check out new song 'Static'
Breakout four-piece Sleep Theory — vocalist Cullen Moore, guitarist Daniel Pruitt, bassist Paolo Vergara, and drummer Ben Pruitt — were one of the biggest success stories of both 2023 and 2024. Sleep Theory storm headlong into 2025 by announcing their eagerly awaited debut album, Afterglow, which arrives on May 16 via Epitaph Records. The album, which offers a stunning display of diverse rock flavours, was produced by David Cowell and mixed by Zakk Cervini (Bring Me The Horizon, Bad Omens, Architects).

Their new album, Sharon Van Etten & The Attachment Theory, is out today via Jagjaguar, and last night, they appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon performing ‘Southern Life (What It Must Be Like).‘ The song has been praised by Stereogum as “a heavy, churning synth-rock jam” and a “ripping rock track” by FLOOD. This is the first album Sharon has ever written and recorded with her band — Jorge Balbi (drums, machines), Devra Hoff (bass, vocals), and Teeny Lieberson (synth, piano, guitar, vocals) — allowing her the freedom that comes by letting go.
JAMES BRANDON LEWIS TRIO releases new album today | Get Apple Cores today!
His sixteenth album, today New York City’s James Brandon Lewis Trio releases Apple Cores, a record that further cements Lewis as one of the most provocative and prolific musical voices of his generation. It follows his breakthrough with Downbeat Magazine’s Album of the Year Jesup Wagon (2021), a dreamlike mosaic of gospel, folk-blues and catcalling brass bands inspired by inventor George Washington Carver, and Eye Of I (2023), his joyous and exploratory debut for ANTI-. Recently named their Rising Star as both Artist of the Year and Composer of the Year, Downbeat declared: “James Brandon Lewis does not take the easy road. Having forged a singular sound on the tenor saxophone, he could simply devise settings that showcase his brawny tone. Instead, he has rooted his recent music in extramusical research.”
