Irish troubadour, GLEN HANSARD (The Frames / Once/ The Commitments) shares new single and album - Listen to Bearing Witness
Glen Hansard has released his fifth solo record ‘All That Was East Is West Of Me Now’. It will mark the singer-songwriter's first record in over four years and follows a period that found Hansard moving between collaborative work with Eddie Vedder and Cat Power to live performances with The Frames and Markéta Irglová/The Swell Season. The effect of which helped give direction to ‘All That Was East Is West Of Me Now’, a record that is by all turns noisy and meditative, sprawling and hypnotic, Hansard’s most rock record since Burn the Maps-era The Frames. Today Glen Hansard also shares his latest single from ‘All That Was East Is West Of Me Now’, 'Bearing Witness'.

You don’t know when you’ll see them again but the rush of their possibility lingers, making you yearn to know more about them.”
Matador's CAR SEAT HEADREST announce new live album -LISTEN TO THE FIRST SINGLE HERE
On March 28th-30th 2022, Car Seat Headrest played three consecutive sold out nights at Brooklyn Steel in New York. An air of celebration, community and showmanship was present, made all the more palpable as the shows were far from a certainty - they took place amidst a year which saw the band having to postpone or cancel a large swath of their North American tour dates due to ongoing health issues.
The three night residency is captured on Faces From The Masquerade - a double album’s worth of live performances that finds Car Seat Headrest at their most playful, exuberant and precision honed. The title alludes to the by now familiar, custom-made gas mask worn by frontman Will Toledo at shows, complete with an expressive LED display for eyes. In addition to the group’s four core members - Toledo, guitarist/backing vocalist Ethan Ives, bassist Seth Dalby and drummer Andrew Katz - they were joined on the tour by keyboard player Ben Roth.

BETH ORTON NZ tour rescheduled to April 2024 | New tour dates here
“Dear New Zealand! I have an important announcement. I am having to reschedule my upcoming dates to April 2024. It’s not something I wanted to do, but for my health I need to take a pause. Through the wonders of modern science, medication, diet and being super careful, I’ve been able to keep all of my commitments this year which has been a miracle. But the advice at this stage is not to push it in November. I’m going to stay close to home and keep everything I do local for a few months and then I will come in April when I can take on the long haul flights and put everything into touring your beautiful part of the world with an extra special configuration of musicians in my band. Tickets will be valid for the new dates which are listed above and below. I can’t wait to see you all soon.”
