LOLA announces debut EP Outside World | Listen to new song 'Above'
Lola’s self-produced debut EP, Outside World, out April 11, blends electronic textures with organic warmth to explore grief, spirituality, and the spaces between what is seen and felt. Premiered on 95bFM by Half Queen, Lola unveils ‘Above,’ the latest single from the project, a conceptual counterpart to the EP’s first release, ‘Under.’ While the latter captures a sense of being trapped beneath one’s dreams, the former shifts that perspective—stepping outside your physical body to observe your thoughts from a higher vantage point, from above. The track layers church choirs, nocturne analogue synths, and aching swells of violin. “It’s about reaching a place of calm and openness,” Lola explains. “Where you step outside your body—not in a dissociative way, but in a way that allows you to see yourself as you truly are.”

As SABLE,’s darkness gives way to fABLE’s radiant light, pain turns to purpose and possibility, stark reflections set the table for vibrant pop music, and feelings of desolate, depressed solitude transform into deep and devoted sensuality.
PROPAGANDHI returns with album announce | Listen to lead single ‘At Peace‘
Following an eight-year hiatus, the Manitoba, Canada act Propagandhi announce their eighth studio album At Peace, due for release on May 2nd via Epitaph Records. “Speaking for myself, this record might be a snapshot of me deciding whether I’m going to live out the rest of my life as Eckhart Tolle or live out the rest of my life as Ted Kaczynski,” laughs guitarist and vocalist Chris Hannah. In true Propagandhi fashion, At Peace is smart music for dangerous times. The ever-evolving standard-bearers of politically charged punk have actively kicked against musical confines and bro-punk conservatism, promoting a message of anti-fascism since 1986. Distilling their DNA of breakneck riffs, hard-core ethos, and radical consciousness, their message remains as vital, and volatile, as ever.
ADULT MOM release hazy single ahead of new album | Listen to Crystal
Indie-rock quartet Adult Mom – Stevie Knipe, Olivia Battell, Allegra Eidinger and Lily Mastrodimos – announce Natural Causes, their fourth studio album due out on May 9th via Epitaph Records. The band shares its airy lead single ‘Crystal’. Inspired by early R.E.M., old folk standards, and harsher nu-metal tones, it’s adorned with Lily Mastrodimos’s banjo and mandolin to heighten songwriter Stevie Knipe’s lyrics about tamping down their own queerness while stuck inside a deadening relationship.

WOMB One Is Always Heading Somewhere new album out today | Get it today!
One Is Always Heading Somewhere is sibling trio Womb’s third album, recorded throughout 2023 and 2024, between living rooms and bedrooms of various houses across the country – from the trio’s hometown of Te Whanganui-a-Tara to their new homes of Whanganui, Whakatū, and Tāmaki Makaurau. Additional recording was done at their dear friend Bevan Smith’s backyard studio, Circle Blue Studios, with mixing done with their new collaborator De Stevens at Roundhead Studios. “One is always heading somewhere” are words that arose after reading a poem by Ocean Vuong, ‘Someday I’ll Love Ocean Vuong’ – the lines go: “The most beautiful part of your body / is where it’s headed. and remember, / loneliness is still time spent / with the world.”
CIRCUIT DES YEUX release new album| Listen to new song 'Truth'
Circuit des Yeux has released ‘Truth’, the final preview of her new album Halo On the Inside ahead of its release this Friday, March 14th. Warped and transcendent, darkly romantic and thrillingly alien, the album is Fohr’s boldest work to date. A phantasmagoric club cut propelled by broken rhythms, elastic bass, hammond organ, and Fohr’s mesmeric mantra “truth is just imagination of the mind”, the single is accompanied by a video starring Circuit des Yeux (aka Haley Fohr), directed by Cuan Roche.

XMAL DEUTSCHLAND announce Gift: The 4AD Years (1983-1984) |
Xmal Deutschland had an extraordinary impact on British audiences in the early Eighties, having cast a spell through staccato rhythms, unmediated channels, and mysterious (to most at the time) language, further carried by the unique vision and strength of the women involved. Commemorating their ‘4AD years’ (1983-1984) forty years on, the mysteriously enchanting group returns now with a brand-new release entitled Gift: The 4AD Years, out 9 May.
