BARTEES STRANGE talks album #3 with new tune 'Cosigns'
The second offering from his upcoming album Farm to Table shouts out Phoebe Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Justin Vernon, and finds the genre bending line between swaggering hip hop and euphoric alt rock. Farm to Table is Bartee's first LP for 4AD and follows the celebrated 2020 debut, Live Forever and his ode to The National Say Goodbye To Pretty Boy, an EP reimagining their songs.
Lyttelton's BEN WOODS (NZ) is joined by a host of puppets in a paranormal adventure for his new single
Formerly of antipodean indie outfits Wurld Series + Salad Boys, Ben Woods released his debut Put in 2019. It quickly became an NZ fav for it's warbled and romantic songs, laced with shards of emotionally wrought noise. On album #2 Dispeller, due July 15th, Woods pushes the polarities further. HELADO NEGRO releases new single and video ‘Ya No Estoy Aquí’
A South Florida native, born to Ecuadorian immigrants and based in Brooklyn, Roberto Carlos Lange's (better known by his stage name Helado Negro) upbringing provides essential elements to his songwriting, including his consistently bilingual—English and Spanish—lyrics. Released last year Far In is Helado Negro’s first album on 4AD and the seventh full-length album in his catalogue. ‘Ya No Estoy Aquí’ is his first taste of new music and in inspired by the indie film of the same name. Nominated for Best Folk Artist at this year’s Aotearoa Music Awards, Te Whanganui-a-Tara's Miles Calder returns off the back of his celebrated 2021 solo debut album Autopilot Life. Today, he shares a bonus track recorded in the Autopilot Life sessions ‘Workman Song,’ a rollicking folk-rock number about a vivid dream recalling figures from Miles’ time in New York. S. Carey - Break Me Open
S. Carey is the moniker of Eau Claire, Wisconsin-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, and producer Sean Carey, commonly recognized as the drummer, backing vocalist, and second-longest serving member of Bon Iver. Over the past decade, Carey has fostered his flourishing solo career via themes of nature and sustainability, songwriting built from jazz beginnings, and heartfelt, emotive lyricism. His latest and fourth album, Break Me Open, adds to a discography of three full-length releases, two EPs, and countless collaborations.

Miles Calder - Pushing And Pulling Single Release Tour
Wellington songwriter Miles Calder has announced a nationwide tour for May and June 2022. With an abundance of new material to test out, Miles is itching to get out and play shows again. The forthcoming eleven-date tour features Miles alongside bandmate and guitar maestro Chris Armour, playing re-imagined, acoustic versions of previously released songs as well as upcoming singles. Audiences can expect an intimate and musically lush performance, with Miles' spellbinding vocals and pristine arrangements taken to striking new territory.
